Snake Eyes Revisited

- Never Stop Dreaming -

For those of you who grew up during the Y generation or prior, the term Snake Eyes's probably ravaging thru some of that inner boy scout instincts. Or perhaps should I say bring back the good old linear 2 toned cartoons that were aired in the evenings or on Sunday mornings. Yep those were the days where pagers and brick phones still rule the planet until the internet and world wide web took command.

American issued JOE infantry which made it to the toy production lines were the pride and honour of every little boy visiting Yaohan, Oriental Emporium or Sogo. Yeap they were little plastic men attached to colorful carded packagings that paint a brief bio of the figures as well as pictures of other figures. These toys were the very ones that actually coined the term "Action Figure". And the very fact that there's always the "good" guys vs the "bad" guys synopsis to make the entire entity work, the factions of the Joes and the Cobras.

"Snake Eyes"

In fact I do have the very T shirt that bears the prominent red Cobra symbol to pledge my alligence to it's cause...yeah blah blah blah.

"The famous Cobra icon"

Not enough of the memory lane lost childhood...here's more! Snakes Eyes and Storm Shadow are two of the most well known and loved figures from the G.I. Jor series but like the original StarWars figures, they are pretty hard to come by. There were the only Ninja inspired characters among the gun wielding and granade tossing soilder figures of their American comrades. So hail o'mighty one and let our prayers be once again answered.

An exclusive 12 inch figure of Snake Eyes have just been launched and boy it looks darn good. Let these pictures do the talking...
