Where we are all headed

- Never Stop Dreaming -

Sometime perhaps not long ago, Science Fiction books, films, music, etc. were all the rage. Concepts that were larger than life, seemed impossible in reality, that existed only in Man's wildest dreams were being protrayed in every way possible. Creativity to simply justify the quench for endless desire to venture into unknown grounds, unchartered territories or to be God like. That's where Super Heroes were born, legends created and probably the conception of religion, beliefs and customaries. These significant and yet at times extreme thinking not only began a long time ago but they withstood time and persisted way into the modern day as we have come to know it, this quest to discover the vast secrets the universe holds continues. Of course this is good because like in the past, some people did not stop believing and eventually proved everyone wrong, re-wrote history, invented new gadgets or even go down in history with legendary status. It's these people, a small minority that will eventually change everything possibly the world and redefining everything that we never thought were possible...like the cryptozoologists who believe in finding cryptids, like the 2 brothers who believed man could soar and made the plane, like the dude who invented the light bulb, and not forgetting the weird hairdo-eccentric looking Mr E=mc2

I could still remember when I was a kid, light sabers and teleportation were the s***s that blew every kid away. But as I began to grow older, so did the rest of the world and so did technology. From what I can remember, cloning was probably the 1st such fantasy that became a reality. Dolly the sheep as we all have come to love began making headlines around the world by being the 1st successful animal cloned. Now what did those neysayers said about cloning as being ridiculous?

Then somewhere along the time line of history, something about the teleportation of water became possible...Hmmm Guess like it won't be too long before Scottie can beam me to my work place. Cloning and teleportation only existed in Sci-Fi stuffs but some persistant wackos made all these possible because they never stop believing. Too bad the hover board from Back to the Future did not make it to reality, well it almost did if you google it. The next big one would have to be Sir Virgin for putting space tour a reality in the news. Oh...not to forget the gigantous particle beam cannon to discover the Higgs Boson. So comes the question where what is the next big event or when is that big event gonna happen? If you were to ask me I would say everyday, every second something amazing is being done but not yet perfected. Like how I almost skipped a beat in my heart this morning when there is this German dude who became the first person to receive 2 full arm transplant successfully. You see once again the impossible is impossible...think cybernetics in the near future and well that's yet another huge leap to turn insanity into reality.

Of course it would be really nice to advance to the era where we could do just about anything we can possibly dream of with technology and science and see if the day machines take over the world would simply be a dumb hypothesis or in fact a very real theory. You tell me...
