Sony Rolly SEP-10BT

Sony has release the latest musical toy, the Rolly in Japan. Basically it's a sweet little white capsule dancing robot with changing lights. It's appeal is undeniably adorable and irresistable, much less pleasing to the eye. It's more of an intelligent robot than a portable music player. I will not go into the specs and do a indepth review on it but here's a little Youtube vid to pacify my dear readers.

Music Fueled Otoizm

The Japanese are doing it yet again, this time round it`s Konami and not Ban Dai that will push out these sweet little Tamagotchi-liked gadgets. Affectionately named OTOMIZM which roughly translates to Sound + izm, these little round circle of joy each have a digital character in it made up of dot matrix, except that this time round, it`s music that you listen to that actually "feed" the little characters. The characters dances to your favourite music and as usual, you are able to "play" with it by pushing the appropriate buttons. They will also memorize phrazes, compose tunes, grow and also dances with another Otoizm character. Encased in a round plastic that resemble a Yoyo, it comes in Black, White and Red.

Gizmo Plush

I do hope you people remember the Gremlins movie back in the 80s...well if you do happen to go around Singapore and see the Gizmo gremlin plushies, you will soon find that those sold in Singapore have a slightly deformed face and are not really depicted from the actual prop in the movie. And those of you who have been to my little den in Singapore, you'd have seen the actual Gizmo plush that I have is so much cuter than those you see in Singapore...here's my Gizmo pic




See that...? My Gizmo have a much proportionate face and slightly curly and longer fur and here is the actual movie prop...



So if you are cursing and swearing how come I could get the cutest Gizmo plushie, well I paid a almost SGD$300 for it like 10 years ago from a shop in Far East Plaza which have ceased operation some 8 years ago.
